In conformity with Rule 5.6.1 of the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, we notify the market that as at 30 September 2011 Mitchells & Butlers plc's capital consists of 409,467,418 ordinary shares of 8 13/24p each. Mitchells & Butlers plc holds 429 shares in treasury. Therefore the total number of listed voting rights in Mitchells & Butlers plc is 409,466,989.
The above figure of 409,466,989 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Mitchells & Butlers plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
