Voting Rights and Capital
In conformity with Rule 5.6.1 of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, we notify the market that as at 31 March 2013 Mitchells & Butlers plc's capital consists of 410,811,076 ordinary shares of 8 13/24p each. On 25 March 2013, the remaining 429 shares in Treasury were used for the part exercise of a Sharesave option and consequently, the Company no longer holds any shares in Treasury.
The total number of voting rights in Mitchells & Butlers plc is 410,811,076. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Mitchells & Butlers plc under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
