Total Voting Rights
In accordance with Disclosure andΒ Transparency rule 5.6.1, Low &Β Bonar PLC ("the Company") advises that:
The Company's issuedΒ shareΒ Capital as atΒ 28 NovemberΒ Β 2008Β consists of 154,571,152Β ordinary shares with voting rights and Β£100,000 6 perΒ cent first cumulative preference stock, Β£100,000 6 perΒ cent secondΒ cumulativeΒ preferenceΒ stock andΒ Β£200,000 5.5 perΒ cent third cumulativeΒ preferenceΒ stockΒ (the 'preference stock'). Provided that preference dividends remain paid in accordance with the Company's Articles of Association, the preference stock do not carry voting rights. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury.
The total Number of voting rights in theΒ Company is therefore 154,571,152.
This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under FSA's Disclosure and Transparency rules.
