Total Voting Rights
In accordance with Disclosure andย Transparency rule 5.6.1, Low &ย Bonar PLC ("the Company") advises that:
The Company's issuedย shareย Capital as atย 28 Novemberย ย 2008ย consists of 154,571,152ย ordinary shares with voting rights and ยฃ100,000 6 perย cent first cumulative preference stock, ยฃ100,000 6 perย cent secondย cumulativeย preferenceย stock andย ยฃ200,000 5.5 perย cent third cumulativeย preferenceย stockย (the 'preference stock'). Provided that preference dividends remain paid in accordance with the Company's Articles of Association, the preference stock do not carry voting rights. The Company does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury.
The total Number of voting rights in theย Company is therefore 154,571,152.
This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under FSA's Disclosure and Transparency rules.
