Contract Wins
Latchways plc, the designer and manufacturer of fall protection systems for working at height, is pleased to announce two contract wins with a combined value in excess of £3 million for the current year.
The first of these contracts relates to the procurement by Airbus of Wingrip systems for their A380 aircraft. WinGrip is a vacuum anchor fall protection system for use in aviation maintenance and manufacturing of aircraft.
The second contract relates to the ongoing rollout of our vertical systems onto SPAusNet's electricity transmission towers in Victoria, Australia.
David Hearson, Chief Executive, commented: "In our interim results announcement of 12 November 2012, we stated that a number of significant order prospects were giving us confidence in a strong second half performance. We are pleased to confirm that two of these prospects have now resulted in firm orders worth in excess of £3 million combined revenue for this year."
