LSR Group starts construction of the 2nd phase in ZILART
LSR Group has obtained permits for construction of the buildings #16 and #17 in its ZILART project. These are the first two buildings of ZILART's second phase, located between Arhcitect Melnikov and Arhcitect Shchusev streets, near the pedestrian boulevard and the park.
Building #16 is designed by Sergey Skuratov Architects bureau and consists of four sections of various heights (from 7 to 16 floors, up to 55 meters). The building comprises 551 apartments with a total area of 31.3 thousand sqm, as well as dual-level underground parking for 465 lots. The building will have facades clad with clinker brick and glass-fiber reinforced concrete.
Building #17 is designed by the architectural bureau Meganom and consists of four sections of various heights (from 6 to 16 floors). The building comprises 556 apartments with the total area of 31.7 thousand sqm, as well as dual-level parking for 460 lots. There is a wide choice of apartments ranging from 35.1 to 94.7 sqm and featuring various layouts with kitchen-dining room combos and cloakrooms. All apartments with more than two bedrooms have two toilet facilities. Most of the apartments feature panoramic windows. Fireplaces can be installed in the apartments on the top floor.
The courtyards will have children's playgrounds and recreation areas and will be car-free. The new buildings are located in the very heart of ZILART and, thus, far away from the busy streets. At the same time, both building will benefit from the proximity to the boulevard with its shopping malls and entertainment infrastructure. A children's theatre will be located straight across Architect Melnikov Street. And the nearest school is located just one block from building #17.
ZILART is a massive redevelopment project with a unified architectural concept. The 1.2 km long pedestrian boulevard named after Vesnin brothers will become the project's center of attraction with a concert hall, Hermitage-Moscow museum, theatres, shopping malls and a hotel. A landscaped park with the total area of 10 hectares will be completed very soon comprising a basketball court, tennis courts and a children's playground. A wide embankment will be constructed along the Moskva river. ZILART's social infrastructure will include 11 kindergartens for 1,440 kids, an educational complex for 2,500 students and a school for 875 students.
Three metro stations are located within walking distance from ZILART - Tulskaya, Avtozavodskaya and Tekhnopark, along with the station ZIL of the Moscow Central Circle (MCC). In 2018, it is planned to start construction of a motorway bridge to link the Third Ring with Varshavskoe highway.
