New contract awards
LPA Group plc, the innovation-led engineering specialist in electronic and electro-mechanical components and systems, is pleased to announce three project awards in the export rail market, for a total combined value of £4m.
SNCF Voyageurs
Contract award from SNCF Voyageurs SA, the national French rail operator, for the design and supply of bespoke interior LED lighting for the retrofit of regional and inter-city fleets over the next five years. This is a significant milestone as the Company is renewing a 16-year-old partnership with SNCF with this prestigious contract win.
Siemens Mobility
Contract award from Siemens Mobility GmbH, one of the leading providers of rail mobility solutions including rolling stock, rail infrastructure, rail services and software. LPA will manufacture bespoke LED lighting as part of the overhaul of the Munich Metro rolling stock interior lighting system. This contract is deliverable by the end of 2025.
Grammer
Contract award from Grammer AG, one of the world's leading manufacturers of seating systems. LPA will design and supply seat electronics and lighting for the CSI (Corridor Sud Italie) project, which will be fitted into 15 Avelia Horizon next generation TGV trains, being built by Alstom Transport, in France, for SNCF. This contract award is deliverable by the end of 2026.
