Lenta to hold Capital Markets Day

St. Petersburg, Russia, 18 March 2021: Lenta IPJSC (MOEX & LSE: LNTA), one of the largest retail chains in Russia, will today announce its updated strategy for the period through 2025 as part of the company's Capital Markets Day.

Lenta's Chairman and its senior management team will set out the core pillars of the company's updated strategy, followed by a Q&A session.

The updated Strategy 2025 aims to transform Lenta into a food retail champion during the next stage of the Russian food retail sector. It builds on the company's existing strengths as Russia's fourth largest and most profitable major food retailer with a nationwide presence, a leading and widely recognized brand, and a highly loyal customer base.

Lenta seeks to achieve the following four goals:

· Growth - to double revenues to RUB 1 trillion by 2025

· Profitability - to remain the most profitable Russian food retailer

· Competitiveness - to be the #1 or #2 player in those geographies or segments where Lenta chooses to compete

· Returns - to generate a sector-leading TSR by 2025
