UPDATE RE PLANNED BOARD AND MANAGEMENT CHANGES
London, United Kingdom - 22 May 2023 - Landore Resources Limited (AIM: LND) ("Landore Resources" or the "Company") is pleased to provide an update in respect of the proposed changes to its Board of Directors and Management as outlined previously in the Company's announcement of 4 May 2023.
Charles Wilkinson, Non-Executive Chairman, has informed the board of his intention to retire and will not be standing for re-election at the upcoming Annual General Meeting ("AGM") to be held on 29 June 2023.
Huw Salter, currently Non-Executive Director, will assume the role of Non-Executive Chairman of the Company upon conclusion of the AGM.
William (Bill) Humphries, Director, has informed the Board of his intention to retire and will not be standing for re-election at the upcoming AGM. Bill will also be relinquishing the positions of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company, and Chairman/President of the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Landore Resources Canada Inc. upon conclusion of the upcoming AGM.
The Company is in advanced discussions with a potential replacement CEO candidate. Should such discussions not be finalised by the upcoming AGM, Glenn Featherby, currently Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, will assume the position of interim Chief Executive Officer upon conclusion of the AGM until the appointment of a permanent replacement CEO has been confirmed.
Michele Tuomi, (P.Geo., BSc, Geology), currently Director and Vice President Exploration for Landore Resources Canada Inc. ("LRC"), will be appointed Chief Executive Officer of LRC with effect from 1 June 2023. Michele is a Qualified Person ("QP") as defined in the Canadian National Instrument 43-101, and the AIM Rules for Companies, and has been employed by LRC since 2005 working predominantly on the advancement of Landore's flagship property, Junior Lake.
