Included in this figure are: (i) 22,907,804 shares registered or to be registered in the name of our wholly-owned subsidiary nominee company, Schroder Nominees Limited (Schroder Nominees): (ii) 6,014,109 shares held in unit trusts operated and managed by an affiliated company, Schroder Unit Trusts Limited (SUTL), and registered or to be registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited: A subsidiary, Schroder Investment Management North America Ltd (SIMNA Ltd), is managing a portfolio on a similar basis holding a further 6,650,108 shares. These shares are registered or to be registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited. An affiliated company, Schroder & Co Limited (S&Co Ltd), is managing on a discretionary basis portfolio holding a further 112,402 shares. These shares are registered or to be registered in the name of Brown Brothers Harriman. We believe that we, our subsidiary and affiliated companies are therefore interested in an overall aggregate of 35,684,423 shares, representing some 12.458% of the total number of shares in issue, namely 286,429,228.
