Approvals received from the Philippines Bureau of Fire Protection & Qatar Civil Defence
LifeSafe (AIM: LIFS), a fire safety technology business with innovative fire extinguishing and prevention fluids and fire safety products, is pleased to announce that through its distribution partner, Lingjack Engineering Works Pte Ltd ("Lingjack"), a substantial Asian fire safety business located in Singapore, approvals have been received from the Philippine Bureau of Fire Protection and Qatar Civil Defence for the Company's fire extinguishing cylinder which features LifeSafe's unique Thermal Runaway Fluid ("TRF") engineered to effectively extinguish lithium-ion battery fires and prevent reignition.
Dominic Berger, Chairman of LifeSafe, commented: "Accreditation for new products within the global fire industry is a complex and lengthy process. We are delighted to have received approval for our new TRF cylinders for sale within the very significant territories of the Phillipines and Qatar to address the increasing risks related to lithium-ion battery fires and we look forward to further global accreditations in due course ."
