l All information regarding management performance and financial results of LG Electronics during the 2nd quarter of 2010 as contained herein has been prepared on a consolidated basis in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS"). 1st quarter of 2010 and 2nd quarter of 2009 results are also prepared on a consolidated basis in accordance with IFRS for comparison purposes.

l From 2nd quarter of 2010 LG Innotek has been excluded from the consolidation of LGE due to LGE's stake declining to 49.95% in April 22, 2010. For comparison purposes, 1st quarter of 2010 and 2nd quarter of 2009 results are also prepared with LG Innotek excluded from LGE's operating income and instead included in the net income as profit (loss) from discontinued operations.
