Portfolio Update
The board of Leaf Clean Energy Company is pleased to announce completion of the realisations of four of its investments: the biomass power plants Multitrade Telogia, LLC and Multitrade Rabun Gap, LLC, the landfill gas portfolio owned by Johnstown Regional Energy, LLC and the solar thermal power technology company SkyFuel. These transactions closed on 11 March, 31 March, 24 June, and 13 August, respectively. In addition, Leaf received a partial return of capital from its indirect investment in Energía Escalona I S.A. de C.V. during the period. The up-front aggregate cash proceeds received by Leaf from these transactions and the capital return were $8.4 million and $0.5mm, respectively. Leaf's unaudited aggregate carrying value (on a comparable basis) at 31 December 2014 for the investments sold was $9.1 million. These transactions were led by Leaf's investment subsidiary, Leaf Capital Management, which comprises the investment staff at Leaf.
