Update on financing process

On track to complete by end of Q1 2016 - in line with expectations

Intelligent Energy ("IE"), the energy technology company, notes the recent share price decline and publishes an update on the progress being made with regard to its financing.

At its preliminary results announcement on 30 November 2015, IE outlined a two-tier process to raise additional funds. The first phase involves the proposed issue of a convertible loan note to industrial partners, which due to its business nature is a time consuming process. The second phase regards realising some of the significant value that is being created in its DP&G Indian operations.

Good progress is being made towards completing both of these phases by the end of Q1 calendar 2016 as originally indicated.
