The Company announces that on 2 August 2012, Richard Akers exercised 8,600 share options granted to him on 1 July 2003 under the 2002 Executive Share Option Scheme at an exercise price of 710 pence per share. 8,169 shares were sold at a price of 799 pence per share to provide for the exercise price, commission, tax and national insurance leaving him with a balance of 431 shares.

Following the exercise of options, Richard Akers was interested in the following shares:
