Lamprell Plc12 December 2006 LAMPRELL PLC ("Lamprell" or the "Company") WINS LLOYD'S LIST AWARD FOR SECOND YEAR RUNNING Lamprell plc, based in the United Arab Emirates and listed on London AIM(symbol: LAM) is a leading provider of specialist engineering services to theinternational oil & gas industry, emerged triumphant in the Lloyd's List MiddleEast and Indian Subcontinent Awards ceremony 2006 in the Energy Award: Gas andOil category at an event held in November at the Mina Al Salam Hotel in Dubai. The award followed on from Lamprell's successful nomination in November 2005.This year Lamprell found themselves short listed alongside two most worthynominees, Emirates National Oil Company of Dubai and Reliance Industries ofIndia. The award sets out to recognize the organization which has demonstrated a strongsafety culture, creativity, business initiative, commitment to investment andgrowth in the year in focus.
