Issue of Equity
Kore Potash plc advises that a total of 3,811,398 ordinary shares of US$0.001 each in the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") have today been issued to certain Non-Executive Directors of the Company in lieu of cash fees for the quarter ended 31 December 2019. This is in line with the cost reduction strategy announced on 27 June 2019 and approved at the 2019 General Meeting of the Company held on 17 July 2019.
The number of New Ordinary Shares issued to each Non-Executive Director in lieu of remuneration for the quarter ended 31 December 2019 was calculated as follows:

Application has been made for the admission of 3,811,398 ordinary shares of US$0.001 each on AIM, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and the Australian Securities Exchange with admission expected to take place on 27 January 2020.
Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 1,541,252,564 ordinary shares. No shares are held in treasury. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 1,541,252,564.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
