JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Prod16 November 2006 16 November, 2006 PRESS-RELEASE JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production Increases Oil Production in First 10 Months of 2006 JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production, ("KMG EP" or the "Company"), one of theleading producers of crude oil in the Republic of Kazakhstan, today announcesincreased oil production for the first ten months of 2006 as compared to thesimilar period of 2005. For the period of January to October 2006, KMG EP produced 7,965 thousand tonnesof oil and gas condensate, an increase of 171 thousand tonnes when compared tothe similar period of 2005. In the period January to October 2006, KMG EP supplied 2,264 thousand tonnes ofoil to the domestic market through the system of oil-trunk pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil". In addition, in the first ten months of the year, KMG EP exported 5,585 thousandtonnes of oil, 2.4% more than for the similar period of 2005.
