Kingston Communications(Hull)PLC01 September 2006 1 September 2006 KINGSTON COMMUNICATIONS (HULL) PLC (KCOM.L) APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Kingston Communications (Hull) PLC today announces the appointment of BillHalbert as a Non-Executive Director of the Board. Bill Halbert is currently the founding President of Sprint Enterprise MobilityIncorporated, a subsidiary of Sprint-Nextel, the US telecommunications group. Hehas worked in the information technology industry for over thirty years. Hespent the early part of his career with ICL, the UK's leading computermanufacturer. Following this he held a number of senior positions in thedeveloping systems integration market. In 1990 he founded and, for the nextthirteen years, was CEO of Syntegra, BT's global consulting and systemsintegration subsidiary. In accordance with 9.6.13.1 of the Listing Rules, Bill is also a non-executivedirector of AIM listed AT Communications Limited.
