APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
KCOM GROUP PLC today announces the appointment of Peter Smith as a Non-Executive Director of the Board.
Peter Smith is a senior Partner of L.E.K. Consulting LLP ("L.E.K."), an international firm that specialises in strategy, transaction services and performance improvement consulting. He is a member of L.E.K.'s Global Leadership Team, based in their London office. He joined the firm in 1988 and has 26 years of experience in the aerospace and defence, aviation, industrial, transport, automotive, energy and business/technical services sectors in addition to leading the performance improvement area for L.E.K. in Europe.
On appointment, Peter will become a member of the Remuneration, Nomination and Audit committees.
Graham Holden, non-Executive Chairman of KCOM Group said, "I am delighted to welcome Peter Smith to the Board. His appointment will bring relevant experience and value which compliments the existing established Board members."
For the purposes of Paragraphs 9.6.13.1 to 9.6.13.6 of the Listing Rules there are no details requiring notification.
