New order for Gemstone AX product

K3, which provides and supports Enterprise Resource Planning software, hosting and managed services to the supply chain industry, is pleased to announce that it has secured the first phase of a new order for its Microsoft-based 'Gemstone' AX product with a major UK garden centre chain. The full value of the order if fully implemented is c. £2m.

This order is the fourth such 'first phase' order for Gemstone AX which K3 has secured over the last two months or so and the full potential value of these four new wins totals c. £8m, if fully implemented.

K3 now is gaining a widening base of blue chip retail customers able to act as reference sites for its Gemstone AX product. This alongside signs of greater willingness on the part of retailers to invest in technology, particularly around online sales, stands K3 in good stead as it completes its investment in Gemstone AX, enhancing the Microsoft technology with its own intellectual property to establish it as a leading solution for the retail and wholesale markets.
