AGM Statement
Crossrider (AIM: CROS), will be holding its Annual General Meeting at 12.00pm today.
At the meeting, Don Elgie, Non-executive Chairman of Crossrider, will make the following statement:
"I'm pleased to report that Crossrider has made a solid start to the financial year with trading in-line with management expectations. Our senior management team have executed a successful turnaround of the Company, which is now on track to benefit from our renewed focus on growing Crossrider's digital product portfolio. We continue to see strong traction across our broadening software product suite which is underpinned by our longstanding expertise in digital distribution. Following our recent acquisitions, our portfolio now includes DriverAgent, a device driver optimisation technology and in the cyber security space, CyberGhost, a leading SaaS Virtual Private Network provider.
"We announced the acquisition of CyberGhost at our full year results in March 2017. The integration of CyberGhost is progressing to plan with the synergies outlined at the time of acquisition now being realised and exceeding our expectations. CyberGhost was a highly strategic bolt-on acquisition for Crossrider as it broadens our B2C sales footprint, whilst expanding the Company's presence in the highly lucrative cyber security market - a key growth vertical for Crossrider.
"We continue to grow the Company organically by leveraging our digital capabilities to reach our newly expanded consumer base and in addition, we are constantly evaluating acquisition opportunities which will both broaden our product reach and accelerate our routes to market"
