Result of Annual General Meeting
Following the Annual General Meeting of the Company, which was held earlier today, the Board is pleased to announce that all ordinary and special resolutions put to shareholders were passed.
The Board acknowledges that there was a significant minority vote (25.47%) against resolution 3, in respect of the re-election of the Chairman, Mr Gordon Grender, apparently on the grounds that he has served on the board for more than nine years. In the Board's opinion, Mr Grender's extensive knowledge of the north American smaller companies market is invaluable and he continues to provide a material contribution to the success of the Company in his role as chairman. The Board will continue to engage with shareholders and proxy advisers in relation to this matter.

A copy of the Company's Annual Report & Accounts for the year ended 30 June 2018, which contains the full text of the resolutions in the Notice of Annual General Meeting is available for inspection at: www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM.
