In accordance with DTR 3.1.4R, Johnston Press plc (the "Company") announces that it was notified on 13 June 2014 (in accordance with DTR 3.1.2R) that the following acquisitions of the Company's ordinary shares of 1p each by directors of the Company and/or their connected persons took place in London that day. Each of these transactions took place pursuant to the 6.52 for 1 rights issue at 3 pence per new ordinary share announced by the Company on 9 May 2014.
