DIRECTOR'S/PDMR SHAREHOLDINGS
This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4(1)(a).
On 1 April 2016 Ashley Highfield, Chief Executive Officer, and Peter McCall, Company Secretary of the Company, exercised awards under the Johnston Press Deferred Share Bonus Plan1 (the "Plan") over ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company, granted on 6 June 2012. The Company was informed by the relevant PDMRs of the transactions on 5 April 2016. These options were exercisable from 15 March 2015 to 14 March 2017 and no consideration is payable on the exercise of these awards. The individuals sold a proportion of the shares acquired to satisfy tax liabilities.
