DIRECTORS'/PDMR SHAREHOLDINGS
The Company announces that on 25 September 2008 the following directors and members of the Group Management Board were granted conditional awards over ordinary shares of 10p each in the Company under the terms of the Johnston Press Performance Share Plan 2007 (the "PSP"). No consideration was paid for the grant of the PSP awards.
