Ian Russell was most recently Chief Executive of Scottish Power plc, havingjoined as Finance Director in 1994. Prior to that, he gained extensiveexperience in a variety of finance roles both in the profession with KPMG andacross a range of industries in the UK and Hong Kong. Ian will join the AuditCommittee with immediate effect. Commenting on the appointment, Roger Parry, Chairman of Johnston Press, said: "Iam delighted to welcome Ian to the Board.
