Johnston Press plc (the "Company") announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for 15 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to be traded on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange.
These ordinary shares are being issued in connection with the proposed share capital reorganisation to ensure that the number of existing ordinary shares is exactly divisible by 50 (being the consolidation ratio) and will be allotted to Computershare Nominees (Channel Islands) Limited, acting as nominee for the Company's Employee Share Trust. These shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing ordinary shares in issue and admission is expected on or around 7 November 2014.
