Proxima Welcomes JKX Shareholder Vote

28 January 2016, London - Proxima Capital Group ("Proxima"), the independent investment firm that is the second largest single shareholder in JKX Oil & Gas Plc ("JKX" or "the Company"), welcomes the results from today's General Meeting at which shareholders comprehensively approved all the resolutions they had put forward.

Proxima Capital Group CEO Vladimir Tatarchuk said: "We are delighted that all our resolutions were passed unconditionally, without having to rely on the votes of shareholders that are subject to legal dispute. We look forward to playing our part as a shareholder in supporting the company as it goes forward."
