JKX OIL & GAS plc ("JKX")
Result of Annual General Meeting
JKX Oil & Gas plc ("JKX") announces that at its AGM held earlier today, Resolution 1 to 9 and Resolution 12 set out in the Notice of Meeting were duly passed after taking into account all of the votes cast by shareholders.
Accordingly, inter alia, Resolution 5 to re-elect Dr Paul Davies, Chief Executive of JKX, as a Director of the Company was duly approved, notwithstanding the votes cast against the resolution by the nominees of Eclairs Group Limited ("Eclairs") and Glengary Overseas Limited ("Glengary").
The outcome of Special Resolutions numbered 10 and 11 has not been determined pending the court's judgment in relation to the effectiveness of the restriction notices served upon Eclairs and Glengary and their nominees. In the event that the restriction notices are effective the Special Resolutions will have been passed; and, if not, the Special Resolutions will not have been passed.
