JKX Oil & Gas PLC12 July 2006 JKX OIL & GAS plc Block Listing Announcement 12th July 2006 JKX Oil & Gas PLC ("JKX" or the "Company") Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange for admission to the Official List for the block listing of 4,000,000 new ordinary shares which may be issued from time to time under two of the Company's share option schemes, comprising up to 1,000,000 new ordinary shares under the 2001 JKX Inland Revenue Approved Share Option Scheme and 3,000,000 new ordinary shares under the 2001 JKX Unapproved Share Option Scheme. These shares, will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue. It is expected that admission will become effective on 24 July 2006.
