Resignation of Director

Cardiff, UK.:IQE plc (AIM: IQE, "IQE" or the "Group"), the leading global supplier of advanced semiconductor wafer products and wafer services to the semiconductor industry, announces the resignation of Mr Adrian Meldrum as a Director of the Group.
Β
Adrian's resignation will take effect on 21 September, to facilitate an orderly handover across the summer. He leaves IQE for personal reasons.

His current responsibilities as Business Development Director will be assumed by two recent recruits to IQE: Eliot Parkinson, General Manager, IQE Europe (Opto), who joined in May 2012; and Russ Wagner, Vice President Global Projects (including CPV), who joined in April 2012.
