IP Group plc - Issue of Equity

IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or "the Group" or "the Company"), the developer of intellectual property-based businesses, announces that it has issued 1,519,849 new ordinary shares of 2p each (the "New Shares") to satisfy a proportion of the deferred consideration which has become due in respect of the acquisition of Parkwalk Advisors Ltd.

An application has therefore been made to the Financial Conduct Authority for admission of the New Shares to the premium listing segment of the Official List maintained by the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that admission will take place on 10 April 2018. Following the issue of New Shares, the Company will have 1,058,903,450 ordinary shares in issue.
