Infinis Energy plc announces the proposed appointment of Tom Hinton as Chief Financial Officer
Infinis Energy plc today announces its intention to appoint Tom Hinton to the board as Chief Financial Officer following the retirement of Gordon Boyd from Infinis. Tom will join from Centrica Energy, where he has been Chief Financial Officer (Centrica Energy Canada) since 2013 following 10 years in other finance roles within Centrica. Gordon Boyd will remain Chief Financial Officer until Tom formally joins the Infinis board in late November 2015.
Since joining Infinis in 2012, Gordon has played a key role in helping to steer the Company through its IPO on the London Stock Exchange in 2013 and in ensuring the delivery of its growth plans. Gordon has informed the board of his intention to step down to pursue other interests but will remain with the company until early 2016 to ensure an orderly transition.

The date of Mr Hinton's formal appointment to the board will be announced in due course. There are no disclosures required pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13 in connection with this appointment.

Tom Hinton:
Tom Hinton has been Chief Financial Officer of Centrica Energy Canada since 2013, a role to which he was appointed following three years as Finance Director of Centrica's Power Generation business. He has also served as Finance Controller at British Gas and Finance Manager for British Gas Business.
He is a Trustee of Christian Aid and Chair of its Finance, Fundraising and Investment Committee.
Tom graduated with a first class degree in Geography from Oxford University.
