Gas Storage Seminar on 9th September 2010
Infrastrata plc (AIM: INFA) announces that a seminar on gas storage in co-operation with the London Energy Group will be held on Thursday 9th September 2010 in London.
The security of the UK's energy supplies is a very topical subject and the contribution that gas storage will make in the coming decade to these supplies will be central to the day's events.
The seminar "2020: Vision for future gas prices, price volatility and gas storage requirements in the UK" will address a range of topics including:
§ impact of increasing LNG on the gas market over the coming decade;
§ impact of increasing proportion of intermittent electrical generation from wind energy on gas-fired power generation and gas storage;
§ level of gas storage that the UK will need in 2020;
§ how gas traders use storage capacity;
§ the economics of gas storage; past, present and future?
The speakers, who will be addressing an audience of private and institutional investors, analysts and the media, will be from a wide range of organisations including Pöyry, Wood Mackenzie, ECS, Deloitte and The Energy Contract Company.
At the end of the day a panel of industry experts will provide a short presentation of their own prediction on 2020 gas prices and price volatility, followed by a question and answer session with the seminar attendees.
