Immedia and Silk Route agree to integrate 'Augmented Reality' into the Omni Channel Retail Environment

Augmented Reality to enhance and energise the consumer shopping experience in 2014

Immedia Group PLC, the UK's premier supplier of digital music, entertainment and commerce channels to leading brands, announces a strategic partnership with Silk Route, to supply Augmented Reality ("AR") commerce and product recognition solutions.

As a result of the agreement, Silk Route and Immedia will work together to bring the advantages of Augmented Reality to the fast paced, hugely competitive retail environment. The technology allows retailers to promote and sell products and services 'out of store'.
