Infrastructure India plc, an AIM listed infrastructure fund investing directly into assets in India, announces that it was notified yesterday that GGIC IIP Holdings, LP ("GIH") acquired 2,489,200 ordinary shares of £0.01 each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 29p per share on 3 September 2012.
GIH is an affiliate of Guggenheim Global Infrastructure Company Limited ("GGIC") which, following the acquisition, directly and indirectly, holds 175,324,980 Ordinary Shares representing 51.17 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital. The Company's Asset Manager, Guggenheim Franklin Park Management, LLC, is a wholly owned subsidiary of GGIC.
