COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT - APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR 20th July 2005 iimia Investment Group plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that NicholasHamilton, aged 55, has today joined the Board of the Company as an independentnon-executive director. Inter alia, he will serve on the Board's Audit andRemuneration Committees.Nicholas qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte & Touche where hestayed until 1984 finally in the roles of Group Manager of Corporate Financeand also of Marketing. He then spent six years at Schroder Securities as Headof Corporate Finance. Following the decision by Schroders to close their UKEquity broking activities in 1991, Nicholas moved across to Carr Kitcat &Aitken where he worked for two years as Head of Corporate Finance.He became a Non-Executive Director of Claremont Garments in 1991 and in 1994 hebecame executive Group Finance Director. In 1998 he set up his own consultancybusiness and in 2000 he commenced an assignment at an on-line business travelmanagement company, Travelstore.com Group plc, as Interim Finance Director.Following the successful refinancing of the Company he then worked as full-timeCFO for a further 18 months until the business was sold to Online Travel in thesummer of 2002. Nicholas is currently continuing with his consultancy businesswhich has involved over the years a number of non-executive and also interimmanagement roles.He is currently a director of Storeys Group plc and within the last five yearshas been a director of the following companies: * Air-Sea Survival Equipment Limited * MYRATECH.NET plc * OVER 50s.com Limited * Travelstore.com group plc There is no further information to be disclosed under the requirements of Rule17 of the AIM Rules in relation to his appointment.The Company's Chairman, William Long said "at the time of the merger betweenExeter and iimia we intended to strengthen our Board through the recruitment ofan additional non-executive director.
