Contract Win Announcement

Ideagen PLC (AIM: IDEA), a leading supplier of Compliance based Enterprise Information Management, announces a new three year contract extension with Service Birmingham worth £220,000 on what was previously an annually renewable contract.

Service Birmingham is the partnership between Birmingham City Council* (BCC) and Capita**, which was set up in April 2006 to support the council in changing the way it works, using information communications technology (ICT) to pave the way. Service Birmingham now employs around 1100 people and in addition to providing world-class ICT systems, it also manages the council's customer contact centre dealing with over 2 million customer calls a year.

Service Birmingham has signed a three year contract with Ideagen for the continued use and support of KnowledgeWorker, the Compliance based Information Management suite. KnowledgeWorker enables Birmingham City Council to comply with the requirements of the Local Government Act 2000 concerning governance of the decision making processes within the Council including the publication of meetings, agendas, minutes and agreed decisions to its citizens.
