Board Change

Ideagen PLC (AIM: IDEA), a leading supplier of integrated risk management software to highly regulated industries, announces that Jonathan Wearing, Non-executive Director of the Company, will retire from the Board after 16 years with Ideagen on November 31st 2019.

The Company is pleased to announce that Richard Longdon will be joining the Company as Non-Executive Director of the Group effective from November 1st.

Richard has had a highly successful career in the technology sector, having spent 33 years with AVEVA Group plc ("AVEVA"), where he was Chief Executive Officer for 17 years until December 2016. During his time with AVEVA, the company grew from a £7m management-buyout to a £42 million public listing and was valued at £1.4bn when Richard retired from the board. AVEVA was a pioneer in the subscription based sales model, its profitable and consistent growth was achieved both organically and through acquisitions through an extensive operation across EMEA, USA and Asia

In the public markets Richard has also previously held the position of senior independent non-executive director at listed Fidessa Plc until it was taken private in 2018 and Alfa Financial plc. Richard has also worked successfully with Private Equity backed businesses serving as a non-executive director at Prometheus Inc and non- executive Chairman at Process Systems Enterprise Ltd.

Richard will chair the nomination committee which will be formed on his appointment.
