ISSUE OF EQUITY
The directors of Hygea vct plc (the 'Company') are pleased to announce an allotment on 19 May 2009 of 70,000 new ordinary shares of 50 pence each ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 57 pence each pursuant to the current 10% Top Up Offer announced on 19 March 2008, under the authority of which the Company is continuing to offer the remaining 164,815 Ordinary Shares. The funds raised of £39,900 will be used for general working capital purposes.
Application will be made for the 70,000 new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed securities and dealings are expected to commence on 26 May 2009.
As part of this allotment John Hustler, a director of the Company, is applying for 10,000 new Ordinary Shares. Following this John Hustler's holding in the Company will be 72,500 Ordinary Shares representing 0.89% of the Company's now issued share capital, being 8,115,376 Ordinary Shares.
