Hydrogen Group plc ("Hydrogen Group" or the "Company")

EBT Purchase

The Company was notified today by Osiris Trustees Limited, the trustees of the Company's Employee Benefit Trust (the 'EBT'), that, on 14 September 2009, the EBT purchased 230,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at a price of 75 pence per Ordinary Share.

Following this purchase, the EBT holds 711,121 Ordinary Shares representing 3.1 per cent of the Company's issued Ordinary Shares.
