Hydro International PLC05 February 2008 HYDRO INTERNATIONAL PLC APPOINTMENT OF NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (** Replacement announcement of RNS Number 2719N **) Hydro International plc, the provider of innovative products for the control andtreatment of water, announces the approval by the Board on 4 February 2008 ofthe appointment of Michael Stevens as a non-executive Director with effect from3 March 2008. Mr Stevens, aged 58, is a highly experienced director having spent an executivecareer in international product industries. Most recently Mr Stevens wasManaging Director of Linx Printing Technologies plc, where he led the rapidgrowth of the business into worldwide markets from 1995 until prior to itssuccessful sale in a contested bid in 2004. Before that Mr Stevens served insenior executive roles at Lucas Diesel Systems, Renold plc and John Brown plc. Mr Stevens will be a member of both the audit and remuneration committees ofHydro International plc. Chairman Roger Lockwood said: "We are very pleased to welcome Michael Stevens tothe Hydro team.
