Director/PDMR Shareholding
Notification and public disclosure of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated with them under the Harworth 2019 Share Incentive Plan ("SIP")
The Company announces that on 15 June 2022, "Partnership Shares" were acquired and "Matching Shares" were awarded under the SIP to eligible employees, including the individuals noted below.
As referred to in the 2021 Directors' Remuneration Report, in 2022 the Company has for the first time offered employees the ability to purchase ordinary shares in the Company under the SIP (Partnership Shares) on a monthly basis. Additional "Matching Shares" are then awarded to participating employees for free. Partnership Shares will be acquired and Matching Shares will be awarded on a monthly basis.
The SIP is a tax advantaged all employee share plan that was approved by shareholders in 2019. Provided the Matching Shares are not withdrawn from the SIP within 5 years from the award date, they may be acquired free of income tax or National Insurance contributions.
