Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director
Hurricane Energy plc (AIM: HUR), the UK based oil and gas company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda Janice Beal as an Independent Non-Executive Director, with immediate effect. Linda will chair the Audit and Risk Committee and become a member of the Remuneration Committee.

Her extensive experience as a tax partner at both PwC and Grant Thornton advising international E&P clients, coupled with her recent career serving as a director of listed small cap natural resources businesses will bring an immediate and meaningful contribution to the work of our Board as we make important financial and strategic decisions. In addition, her in-depth financial knowledge and governance expertise will be of great benefit as Audit and Risk Committee Chair.
