The affirmation of the Bank's IDRs reflects Fitch's view of 'limited recentchanges to the Bank's standalone credit profile'. In its report Fitchmentioned the Bank's established nationwide franchise, soundcapitalisation, robust profitability, and adequate liquidity. According to Fitch, Stable Outlook reflects 'that the Bank has considerableresilience against risks stemming from a weakening of the operatingenvironment, due to a fall in oil prices, and potential further devaluationof the tenge'. The Bank's affirmed ratings are one of the highest among Kazakhstan banksand confirm its position of the most sustainable domestic financialinstitution.
