HORNBY PLC DIRECTORATE CHANGE
The Board of Hornby announces that it has received notice from the current Finance Director, Andrew Morris, that he intends to leave the Group in the Summer of 2013. Andrew joined the Board of Hornby in 2007 and will be leaving to take up a position as Chief Executive of a privately owned pharmaceutical business, where he has been a Non-Executive Director since 1998.
To ensure an orderly transition, the process of identifying and appointing a replacement has started. Shareholders will be updated in due course.
Frank Martin, Chief Executive said,
" Whilst we are sorry to be losing Andrew, we can understand his decision to take the next step in his career to become a CEO. May I take the opportunity on behalf of the Board and my colleagues to thank him for his hard work and for the valuable contribution that he has made to the Group. He has our best wishes for the future and I am confident that we will appoint a suitable, high calibre individual as his replacement."
