Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules 3.1.4R

Hochschild Mining plc ('the Company') announces that, Ignacio Bustamante, an Executive Director, has purchased a total of 29,775 Ordinary Shares in the Company ('Shares').The acquisition comprised a purchase of 29,000 Shares on 4 October 2013 at a price of 156.25p per Share and a purchase of 775 Shares on 10 October 2013 at a price of 160.93p per Share.

Following the purchases, which were made on the London Stock Exchange and notified to the Company on 10 October 2013, Mr Bustamante has a holding of 62,219 Shares.
