Mr Conlin has had over 30 years experience in international oil operationsmainly with the Shell Group, latterly in the The Hague. During his career he hasbeen seconded to Exxon Mobil in Saudi Arabia and has had extensive internationaldevelopment and production experience in Australia, Brunei, North Sea, Venezuela, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Russia. Mr Conlin is based in the UK. Mr Mansell was a corporate solicitor, with a resources law emphasis, in SouthAfrica and Australia from 1971 until 2004, when he retired as a partner fromFreehills, one of Australia's larger law firms. While at Freehills, Mr Mansellwas at various times, Managing Partner Perth, National Chief Operating Officerand National Chairman. Mr Mansell's other listed company directorships are Bunnings Property ManagementLimited (the responsible entity of the Bunnings Warehouse Property Trust), GreatSouthern Plantations Limited, Tethyan Copper Company Limited, West AustralianNewspapers Holdings Limited and Zinifex Limited, where he is Chairman. He isalso Chairman of Electricity Networks Corporation, which trades as WesternPower. Mr Mansell is based in Perth, the location of our head office. The appointments of Messrs Conlin and Mansell are effective from 18 May 2006. Hardman also announces the resignation of Mr Scott Spencer as a Director, withimmediate effect, after nearly 12 years in an Executive and then Non-Executiverole with the Company.
