HONGKONG LAND HOLDINGS LIMITED
Hongkong Land Holdings Limited (the 'Company') announces that Lincoln K.K. Leong and Lily Jencks will be joining the Board of the Company as Non-Executive Directors. Lincoln will join the Board with effect from 4th March 2022 and Lily will join with effect from 28th July 2022. Lincoln will also join the Audit Committee as its Chairman with effect from 4th March 2022.
Lincoln K.K Leong is an independent non-executive director of SUNeVision Holdings Ltd., Link Asset Management Limited, as Manager of Link Real Estate Investment Trust, and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited. He was previously the chief executive officer of MTR Corporation Limited and a non-executive director of Jardine Strategic Holdings Limited and Mandarin Oriental International Limited. Lincoln is a chartered accountant and has extensive experience in the accountancy and investment banking industries.
Lily Jencks is an architectural and landscape designer, with Masters degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, who now runs her architectural practice, Lily Jencks Studio. She was previously a director of JencksSquared Limited. She has in the past worked at internationally-renowned architecture firms OMA and Gehry Partners, LLP, as well as Hongkong Land.
The Company also announces that Lord Powell of Bayswater and Percy Weatherall will be retiring from the Board of the Company with effect from 3rd March 2022. The Company thanks each of them for their valuable contributions over many years, which in Percy's case also includes leading the Company as Managing Director from 2000 to 2006. Both Directors played an important role in the Company's evolution over the period of their tenure into a leading pan-Asian property investment, management and development group.
The Board continues to evolve its composition as it responds to the changing business environment in which the Company operates, and it will benefit from more external expertise.
In connection with the above appointments, the Company advises that Lincoln K.K. Leong has held directorships in the following listed companies in the past five years:
